A replacement for paper.  I do not like walking around with notebooks (the paper kind) and pens and pencils.  I want a device that I can write on that immediately saves what I write.  Every tablet and E-reader available is a device for consumption.  I want a device for creation, and this may be the first step.

The only other information I found about it was a short write-up by Engadget which says this:

Right now it exists only as renders but with, a release mere months away and a decidedly attractive price point, we’re intrigued. Skeptical, but intrigued.

Exactly how I feel.  I have no idea who is making this device, and they have some wild specs.  130 HOURS of battery life?  99 dollars?!  It’ll be interesting to see if they ship it and it works correctly, whoever they are.  Like Engadget says, I’m intrigued.  Skeptical, but intrigued.
